On January 1, 2019, Pigskin Brewing Company will be closing their doors and making way for a new brewery in the Creekside District of Gahanna. It has been confirmed that the new brewery will be Nostalgia Brewing Co. There are several changes that are already taking shape:
The draft list will be completely new - featuring a Mimosa Brut IPA, various New England Style IPAs, a Helles Lager, London Brown Ale, Peanut Butter Porter, and a Scottish Ale - with a few others in the works. Nostalgia will be working with other local Ohio breweries to have guest beers and ciders on draft
Nostalgia Brewing Co. will hold several soft opening events in late January and throughout February to introduce the new offerings
The current kitchen will be closed for remodeling - with new food options at the grand opening in late March 2019
Points on Pints will be ramping down, as I will be helping bring Nostalgia to live as one of the owners! Don’t fret - I still plan on visiting breweries - and hope that I can show a new side of the brewing industry!
Pigskin Brewing Company will be open through December 31, with a final Farewell to Pigskin party on New Year’s Eve!
