Wooly Pig Farm Brewery (est. 2017) opened December 14, 2017.

After opening in late 2017, Wooley Pig has quickly become a local hotspot. This brewery-farm pulls off a unique combination of "down home country feel meets new-age design" with their rustic, yet modern, finishes. A large, open property allows for plenty of space to leisurely roam the grounds and visit up close and personal with the brewery namesake, wooley pigs. You may even spot some goats as well!

The taproom, meanwhile, has a distinctly new feel to it, and is surrounded on the outside by a large covered patio with several long tables. A firepit with log seating is also nearby and would allow you to stay comfortable outside well into the late fall months. There are some outdoor activities available, like cornhole sets and a disc golf target. There is no in-house kitchen but a food truck is often present (on this night it was an ice cream stand), and locals are also known to enjoy and utilize the brewery's policy allowing food to be brought in from the outside. The staff were all very friendly and worked diligently to maintain quick service on a busy night. Wooley Pig has already made an impression on the local scene and has a unique environment that is distinctive among Ohio breweries. It should be a "get-to" for beer enthusiasts across the state.

"Wooly Pig Farm Brewery occupies a converted barn that once housed a tractor and plow. Its beers are sourced from the same natural spring that nourished the Norman family, their animals, and their crops for generations. Between the brewery and the old farmhouse, 12 varieties of hops climb 20-foot-tall trellises. The tasting room has given new life to rustic planks and hand-hewn beams rescued from a collapsed outbuilding."
