Elevator Brewing (est. 1999) started serving their craft beers in a restaurant located in the Bott Brother’s Billiards building, which dates all the way back to 1897. Since then, Elevator has moved to a full-scale production facility in a separate building, but the brewery still supplies all of the beer to the restaurant. The restaurant features an MBA (Masters of Beer Appreciation) and a PHD (Professor of Hearty Drinking) which are monthly rotational beers that give you an opportunity to earn the degree if you keep up with your beer studies and sample twelve consecutive months.

The production facility taproom, referred to as the 13th Floor Taproom, is a laid back atmosphere with some seats around a corner bar. There's a World and USA map on the wall, allowing those that visited to tack up their hometown. Mario Kart plays on an N64 and cornhole bags are just waiting to be tossed. The highlight of my visit was meeting with one of the brewers and having the opportunity to pick up an Elevator tap handle to add to my Ohio tap handle collection.
